Our sweet little Bridger was stillborn on May 17, 2010. A kink in his umbilical cord is what took our little Bridger away from us so soon. He weighed 5 lbs. 5 oz. and was fully developed, healthy, and cute! I was 36 weeks and 3 days when I had him. I had just been to the doctor 3 days prior and everything looked great. Over the weekend I noticed a couple of times that he wasn't moving. On Monday (May 17th) I became more worried and went to the doctor. My doctor couldn't find the heartbeat. I delivered him that night. We spent 6 hours with him. Those 6 hours were some of the most precious hours of my life. Bridger was only with us for a short time but he touched our hearts and lives forever. He will always be a part of our family. We love him so much! We are so grateful for our faith, families, friends, and for our Heavenly Father. We know that Bridger is fulfilling a special mission. We sure do miss though, and look forward to the day we will be reunited once again. We love you little Bridger boy!
President Ezra Taft Benson said "God intended the family to be eternal. With all my soul, I testify to the truth of that declaration. May he bless us to strengthen our homes and the lives of each family member so that in due time we can report to our Heavenly Father in His celestial home that we are all there--father, mother, sister, brother, all who hold each other dear. Each chair is filled. We are all back home."
